How it works?

How can telemonitoring help?

Telemonitoring can alert clinicians to early warning signs of clinical deterioration experienced by the patient (through monitoring of the patient's vital signs and their responses to programmed questions about their condition and wellbeing) and/or it can be used to provide information which may be useful in considering changes to therapy and treatment regimes.

Once embedded, Telemonitoring NI will become part of the healthcare professional's management of their patients and will provide them with improved and timely patient information, which in turn will aid clinical decision making.

Each trust has a designated Telehealth Service Manager who will be available to support the healthcare professional in using this service.
